Who We Are
Established in 1993 by Mr. V.B. Patole, C.R. Ranganathan Residential School for the Deaf is a pioneering institution committed to delivering high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment for children with hearing impairments. The school is proudly managed by the Shri Sadguru Saibaba Trust, a philanthropic organization devoted to the advancement of education, healthcare, and social welfare. What sets us apart is our unique offering—a seamless educational pathway from pre-primary to degree level, making us the only institution in India to provide such comprehensive, long-term academic support for deaf students.
At C.R. Ranganathan School, we believe in empowering ability over disability, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
The school’s mission is closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships). Through these pillars, the institution empowers marginalized youth to lead dignified, independent lives.
